You can give a thank you to my lovely wife, Becky… I do not confess to being the Tourist Whisperer…or a specialist on all that is and was Bermuda. I just enjoy helping people…and when you see tourist (which are easy to spot) scratching their heads, map in hand…one pointing East and the other pointing West, you know they need help. But all that being said, I have no problem wearing this title. (Bring on the tourists, or Island Guests as I like to call them.)

When you live in a tourist location, every local should be a Tourist Whisperer, or a Ambassador to that Country or City, or where ever the location is.

If I have assisted you in anyway, or you know of someone that I have helped…leave a positive note. Soon I will have links to travel websites…where you can leave positive comments. In the mean time, please leave a positive comment below :)…

  1. Not sure if this is the correct site but the guy in Bermuda that walked us to the TShirt store…thank you! We looked for you on Travelocity. You should be the roaming Bermuda gnome!

  2. Very sweet driving us to the City of Hamilton. Your have a very sweet family. We have been meaning to post on here for sometime. Thank you again…we hope to run into you again in November.

  3. Rob…you were so kind. Thank you for pointing out the tshirt shop and the cafe. Sorry you had to hear those four letter words from us (shop)…my husband wanted none of it. Maybe we will see you in Saint George for your holiday. We hope you made it back to your beautiful family.

  4. This gentleman was very nice! My friend and I were visiting the city of Hamilton when my scooter wouldn’t start. As we sat, scratching our heads, the tourist whisperer kindly came over and gave his two cents worth. I hopped off my scooter, he pulled out the kick starter and gave it a kick! It saved us the hassle of having to call the company for help! It was huge!
Thanks again, you really helped us out! It’s very appreciated!

  5. Mr. Whisperer, So our pros and cons. Pros; thank you for the happy hour recommendation. We actually went back the very next day do to the food, drink and locals. Cons; we were hoping that if we said you sent us, we would get the second night at no cost 🙂 We had a great time in Bermuda and have already asked friends to contact you directly.

  7. The fact that you helped up twice in a 3 hour period had us believing that you really worked for tourism. Thank you for pointing us to the Pickled Onion. The weather was perfect for drinks on the veranda and more drinks and more. Cheers.
