A Tropical Storm Warning continues for Bermuda. Tropical storm conditions are expected to begin this afternoon or evening. Sustained hurricane-force winds are not expected on the island as the center of Rafael passes east of Bermuda this evening.<\/p>\n

Maximum sustained winds are 85 mph, a Category One hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Slow weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours.<\/p>\n
